iVIEW 3100STB Digital Converter Box with Recording Media Playback and Universal Remote
Its a great value for the money spent. This is basically a digital to analog converter for old analog TVs. However, it has an HDMI out which can be used to transmit digital audio and video using a HDMI cable. I cut the cord on cable due to the cost and went to an Over The Air Antenna. Hooked the antenna into the box and and an HDMI cable to the TV. Presto, 32 channels all free after doing the setup scan. Simple to install and works superbly. Only drawback is the remote control which is very sluggish and a basically useless menu.

It is very small and has a short cord so placing it next to the TV is tricky. The set up was pretty easy and the channels scanned quickly. We are able to get 90% of our local channels without having to move the antenna. The remote control is colorful which helps with finding the right functions. When you change channels it does not go directly to it there is a hesitation which is alittle annoying. All in all it was worth it and is very reasonably priced.
This product is very unintuitive and I could not get any channels to play after letting it search for channels. The instructions are extremely poor. The were no definitive step by step diagrams and instruction to operate each available option, its as if they figured you knew what you were doing. To top it off there is very poor and confusing language in the instruction booklet. If the product actually does work they need to completely redo the instruction booklet. I researched to brand and found videos of other people having a difficult time making the product work. Guess I should have done that first and saved myself the headache and wasted time.

I live 60 miles from the transmitters and this is my third converter box since the changeover. My previous one still works but I bought this when I discovered that they now record. My old box picks up about 30 stations. This new one picks up only 10 during the channel scan. You cannot use the remote to try to select channels not picked up during the scan. You could do this with my previous boxes. The 10 channels it does pick up looked great and it has quite a few features that the old boxes do not have, however 10 channels is not good enough. I moved my antenna around and scanned for channels five times and still only picked up 10. I am not happy with it but plan to keep it since it was only 20 bucks. I may pass it on to someone who lives closer to the transmitters.

Ive been trying to consolidate my expenses, cable being one of them. I now need a DVR to record my local OTA channels(( I go to bed now at 8:30) and miss a lot of my shows. Now if you have esp to get it to record youll be fine. I had this for 1 1/2 weeks and still couldnt get it to work. The directions were a joke. Needless to say it was returned. I bought a Koramzi CB105. Hooked it up, did my channel scan and then tried recording a few ways. Schedule to record while tvs on watching same program. Tv being off (not DVR box though that was on) And tv being off on one channel and scheduling another channel to record and EVERYTHING worked. I was soooo happy. Just followed direction to record and it worked. Yeah!!!!!
Being a digital converter box, while true, is the least of what this little jewel is or does! Its a digital video recorder! A DVR for a song! It also plays almost all computer/internet video formats (ie, mpg, avi, mp4,…). It displays or does a slide show of digital images in almost all image formats (ie, jpg, gif, …). It records to, or plays from memory devices plugged into its USB port. It records real time or scheduled in advance. It accepts flash drives or hard drives up to 3TB! Thats enough to binge watch for thousands of hours! Its menuing system is a bit non-obvious, but just takes a bit of getting used to. You might have to do something not typical for an American male: read the instructions! (I didnt an havent.) I may just get a second of these just to keep as a spare. This is the slickest little item Ive run into in quite a while, and its a shockingly good value! You gotta getcha one!

I cancelled my satellite service last year. My old analog TV was still sitting in the living room. Went online at and searched for a converter box & antenna. This was just what I needed. The price was great and now my old 25 clunker is up and running. I get all of the basic channels plus more. The digital picture is clear. Very happy with my purchase.

Compact device and easy to set up TV channels. User manual does not indicate what USB flash drive recording speed is minimal. I had to try various SD cards to find out the min was a Class 10 speed. The converter box shuts down after a timed recording. How do you record more than one show if it turns off? User manual, in print or online, is a bare minimum and some of terms used are confusing. English in the manual needs to be improved. As a converter box it works fine, if that is all you want. The INFO key is nice but it takes up too much room on the screen for amount displayed. I could not find a way to stop a scheduled recording. I had to let it complete. As with other devices, the acronym PVR (personal video recorder) is odd. Have to get used to that one. The number pad on the remote is not setup like a other remotes like a calculator keypad.
After reading reviews I was undecided on buying, but for $20.00 I was willing to try it. The remote was an issue at first; you just have to make sure it is pointed in front of the box. It works just like a VCR and I can freeze and rewind my shows. Im pleased with it.

Great little converter. Its a little clunky in that you have to put 4 digit channels in, such as 1001 for 10-1, but once you figure that out, it works fine. Whats really great about it is that if you record somethng with closed captions, it shows the closed captions in the recording and most of them dont, Ive found. the Iview STB 3500 doesnt show them on replay and this one does. I bought two of these and both work fine so far. Ive had them about a month. the remote is a little small and hard to read but the Iview STB 3500 remote is a nice size and works with this converter box.

We live a great distance from our granddaughter and her wonderful husband. They now have 10 month old identical twin boys and they use lots of diapers. We like to help out a little and were so far away, we cant do babysitting or something on that order. We thought probably the best thing we can do for them is contribute to the diaper expense. I only use pampers as they keep my daughter dry. The indicator is wonderful as it helps me keep track of my daughter wetness. With me changing her at the right times it minimizes rashes. I will be using pampers until she can no more. Dryness makes for a happy baby.

When this set was announced i got very excited, a 3 pack for my favorite film. We went to a walmart everyday just to find this set till one day we found it a few weeks ago. The detail in this set is beyond amazing. Tarfful has some good detail and paint apps. Palpatines clothes are very well sculpted. The Sith lighting is a very well done touch to this figure that makes it stand out. The 212th clone is just a repack repaint. Cant wait for more pop figures from Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

Each of your ships has 5 slots you can customize: Rams/Figureheads, Deck items 1, Deck items 2, Hulls, and Rudders. With the exception of rudders which only reduce voyage time, each of these increases the stats of your ship and therefore the success chance of your voyage. While it is fairly easy to reach 100% chance of success when just one stat is required, some voyages will require a combination of Seafaring, Moral and Combat and you will have to carefully customize your ship to find the best setup with the highest chance of success.

Upgrading buildings is a key part of managing your own port. Doing so will allow you to attract better crew, captains and adventures, improve the stats of your ship, increase your voyage rewards and make some of the best armor sets available in the game.
After completing a voyage, you may receive a chatbox message regarding two distractions that are available to participate in while in your port. For completing these you will receive rerolls for voyages, captains and adventurers and effects that boost the stats of your ship for one voyage (with the exception of the Lifeboat which is permanent). The two distractions are:

If you dont have any of the required skill levels, then you can still participate in the port by talking to Meg. She will ask you a series of questions about adventuring and you must choose what you think is the best advice to help her succeed.
Although you only start with one ship, you can have a total of four and additional ships are unlocked by upgrading the office. It is recommended to obtain all four ships as soon as possible to increase the number of voyages you can send each day.

Standard ones can be played by anyone, but the Special voyages require an adventurer to visit your port. When you have one of the required stats, the corresponding adventurer might show up.
Clue voyages advance the adventurers progress towards finding a new island. Adventurers must visit the correct island on a successful voyage to make progress on the clue. When talking to an adventurer in Surulas bar, players can direct the adventurer to a specific island. If players do not direct the adventurer to a specific island, the adventurer chooses one at random from islands not yet visited for that clue. Examine the Map Table in your port to see which island is the correct one to visit. The correct island differs between players.

Standard voyages are the source of the majority of your port resources. They are generally shorter and easier to successfully complete than Special voyages, but offer a smaller reward. By completing these voyages you can receive resources, trade goods and special crew members.

All reward items, with the exception of soups and throwing darts, can be made in standard and superior forms. The normal rewards (except throwing darts) are tradeable, but their effects/stats are slightly weaker than the superior version and they degrade faster. After receiving the message: Seasinger Umi had a small issue when helping out around port. Speak to her to relive the event, head over to Umi, located just east of the portal, and talk to her to play Helping Hand. The aim of this distraction is to help the Warehouse Worker find the items on their list. Start by talking to the Warehouse Worker to receive a clue, then search the crates and barrels to find the appropriate item. You must find 3 items.
Superior elements(Adds extra elemental damage to every magic hit.)
You can recruit and upgrade your crew via the Crew Roster interface. 15 crew members are available to recruit each day, but only 3 are displayed at a time. When you hire or reroll a crew member, one of the remaining reserve will take their place. Each ship can be assigned 5 crew members and each one will effect the stats and success chance of the voyage depending on their individual stats. As you progress through the regions, new crew with higher stats will become available (see below) and each region has a special crew member unlocked by the successful completion of a unique voyage.

You can find scrolls by completing a special voyage with a scroll as a reward. There are 4 scrolls for each item and you need to collect all 4 to unlock the ability to make the item. You can specify which items scrolls you wish to find in the port management interface.
As mentioned above, every successful voyage will return with a number of resources. These resources are used to improve all aspects of your port and the various resource costs of upgrades and crew members are outlined in the tables below.

To make the items you unlock, you need trade goods. These are received as rewards from both special and normal voyages and do not necessarily coincide with whatever scroll you are searching for. Note that you only get trade goods from the Hook region and up.
Every successful voyage will return with a number of resources which can be used to upgrade your ships, port and crew. The number of resources obtained is displayed when selecting a voyage.
There are generally several who match the clue and it may take several attempts to locate the correct one, after which the assassin will appear and kill them. Repeat this process 5 times to complete the distraction.

Meg returns from her adventure at 00:00GMT every Wednesday, after which you can collect an experience lamp for a random port-related skill and money reward. Once youve collected your reward, you can send her on another adventure until the next Wednesday.
As you progress through the Wushanko Isles and upgrade your port, your total port score (viewable in theCaptains Log) will steadily increase. When you reach certain score milestones, your rank will also increase which then unlocks the equivalent player title. There are a total of seven titles to unlock:
